It's been an emotional couple of weeks and now there's some good local news to share and a special event this weekend.
There is also good news relating to the Higbee 6 Squared show, the Salmagundi Club NY "Thumb Box show, Mystic Seaport and the Miniature show at the Maritime art Gallery at Mystic Seaport, "Citiscapes" at Crystal Moll Gallery and Oyster Bay. So here's the info and links:
The show is open and there will be a dual reception Thursday in Baltimore as Crystal Moll Gallery presents "Citiscapes part II" http://kirklarsenfineart.com/event/73602/citiscapes-the-show.

Last Saturday I was the model for Joe Gryuscak's portrait demo at the Salmagundi Club NY fro the American Artist Professional League. It was a really good event with art stories and tips from two great artists.
Speaking of The Salmagundi Club will unveil its 2015 Annual Thumb-Box Exhibition and Sale on Monday, November 23rd at 1 pm. A cornucopia of "small" works priced to sell, this extraordinary pageant of over 300 original art works in two galleries is one of the most anticipated fine art shopping opportunities in New York City. Truly, the BIGGEST "little" Art Show of the Year ! 3 of my pieces have been selected and I hope they all find new homes. There is a reception Dec 3rd 6-8 pm but mind you, it may be a different show by then.
I am also very happy to announce that 4 of my pieces were selected for the Higbee 6Squared show at the Randy Higbee Gallery in Costa Mesa, CA.! Last year one of my pieces sold before it even arrived at the gallery and another won 3rd place! Exhibit opens with reception on December 3rd.
Free and Open to the public, in conjunction with the 36th International Maritime art show on Sunday Nov. 22 at 1:30pm "Maritime Miniatures by Maritime Masters" show opens at the Maritime Art Gallery at Mystic Seaport. I have a winter scene from oyster Bay with the Harbor frozen over in the International show and 2 in the Miniature show which features some artworks small enough to use as tree decorations. Members of the Seaport get 10% off!
